ECODEPUR® offers a wide range of equipment for water treatment, transforming water unfit for human consumption into drinking water and complying with the physical-chemical and microbiological parameters defined in the legislation in force by Decree-Law 306/2007 of 27 August.
Plug & Play systems
Containerised systems
ECODEPUR® designs equipment in containers with suitable solutions that make it easy to move/transport and guarantee the protection of the equipment, providing greater durability. These solutions also make it possible to considerably reduce the costs associated with installation.
Ski pre-installationd
ECODEPUR® skid-mounted treatment systems are designed to take up less space, making them ideal for installations with space restrictions or limited areas. They are also quick and easy to install, thereby reducing the costs associated with assembly.

Membrane Processes
Reverse Osmosis
The ECODEPUR® water purification plants, model RO, are designed to purify water using the reverse osmosis process. This process consists of forcing water to pass through a semi-permeable membrane in order to retain an extremely high percentage of salts, undesirable substances, bacteria or viruses, using a pressure higher than the osmotic pressure of the water to be treated, in the opposite direction to that of osmosis. This is currently considered to be the most energy-efficient technology for removing salinity from water.
Nano and Ultrafiltration
Nanofiltration and ultrafiltration are membrane filtration processes that differ in their pore size, which affects what can and cannot be filtered. Ultrafiltration (UF) retains larger particles such as bacteria, viruses and macromolecules, while nanofiltration (NF) is finer, also retaining multivalent ions and smaller organic molecules, while allowing most monovalent salts to pass through.

Filtration and Ion Exchange
Multimedia filters
Automatic multimedia water treatment filters for removing suspended solids from water, for domestic and industrial applications.
Cartridge filters
Filters suitable for treating drinking water and service water, protecting the hydraulic network and equipment from suspended solids in the drinking water.
Descalers
Automatic water softeners to remove hardness from water, preventing limescale from forming on pipework and equipment.
Deferrizers
Automatically operated de-ironing machines for treating groundwater containing iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide, for domestic and industrial applications.
Denitrifiers
Automatic denitrifier to remove nitrates from drinking water.
Neutralisers
Automatic neutralisation systems to correct the pH of water when it is acidic or alkaline.

Disinfection
Chlorination
Chlorine (Cl) has been used safely and effectively to disinfect drinking water for over 100 years.
When added to water, part of the chlorine is absorbed during treatment, while the other part remains as “free residual chlorine”, which constitutes a real sanitary barrier, particularly in the case of storage.
Ultraviolet
Systems for disinfecting well, borehole and surface water for human consumption using ultraviolet radiation, enabling effective water disinfection without the addition of chemicals.
Ozonisation
Ozonation is an advanced water treatment method that uses ozone (O 3 ), a powerful oxidising agent, to purify water. This process disinfects water by eliminating microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, improves taste and odour, and removes contaminants such as iron and manganese.

Activated carbon
Water treatment to remove chlorine, ozone, organic pollutants, pesticides and organic compounds from drinking and industrial water.
Dosing and control systems
Equipment for dosing and controlling chemical products, for treating water for consumption and industry, namely for disinfecting drinking water, correcting water pH, preventing corrosion and incrustation in water circuits, coagulation and flocculation processes, among others.
